What Kevick is

Kevick checks a live website. It tells you what it found, what it could not check, and what to do next, and every result says how confident Kevick is.

What Kevick is not

Kevick does not guarantee that your application is secure or free of defects. Kevick's checks are based only on what it can observe from outside: the page at the address you give it and, once you have proven you own the site, the JavaScript files that page links on the same site, at the moment the check runs. When you check a site again, it also reads one small file there, /.well-known/kevick-verify.txt, to see whether you have published your ownership code. It does not read your source code, your database, or anything behind a login. It is not a code audit, penetration test, or security guarantee. You remain solely responsible for your application.

Payments

Kevick is free. There is nothing to buy, and no payment is taken.

Acceptable use

Only ask Kevick to check sites you own or have permission to test. You agree not to use Kevick to disrupt or attack any website, and not to try to get around its limits or its ownership checks.

Limitation of liability

Kevick is provided "as is." We are not liable for any losses arising from your use of the platform or from launching an application after using Kevick.
